Vince Gil brings years of experience in political strategy, coalition building, and grassroots organizing to CFFE. A native of Southern California, he moved to Arizona in 2017 and has since worked on campaigns across Arizona, New Mexico, and Georgia, helping advance policies that promote economic freedom and individual opportunity. Vince holds an MBA from Grand Canyon University and is committed to strengthening Arizona through principled, pro-growth leadership. Outside of work, he enjoys serving at his local church and plays tuba in a community band.
David Barletta contributes his expertise in grassroots organizing, coalition building, and political campaigns to Citizens for Free Enterprise. A graduate of the University of Arizona and native of the Chicago suburbs, David initially intended to pursue a career in education before an internship on Capitol Hill shifted his focus to politics. Since then, he has worked on numerous campaigns throughout Arizona, including local, congressional, and statewide races, gaining firsthand experience in advancing policies that promote opportunity and growth. Beyond his professional work, David enjoys coaching youth basketball and spending time with friends and family.
Jaxon Wilcox, an Arizona native and Arizona State Graduate, is a dedicated advocate for small businesses and represents our organization that champions local entrepreneurship. Rooted in his deep connection to the state, Jaxon understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing Arizona’s business community. He works closely with community partners and local entrepreneurs to strengthen resources and create opportunities for small business growth. His commitment ensures that Arizona’s small businesses remain a vital part of the state’s economic and cultural fabric.
Charity is an Arizona native with a background in grassroots engagement and a passion for community-driven advocacy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from Grand Canyon University and brings a strong foundation in strategic outreach to her work at CFFE. Committed to advancing freedom and opportunity in Arizona, Charity supports efforts that empower individuals and strengthen local communities. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and playing pickleball.
Sophia Lepore is a recent graduate of Arizona State University. She earned a degree in political science while serving in leadership roles across campus and the community. Sophia has coordinated grassroots interns, led voter registration drives, and interned in numerous small businesses across the valley. Sophia brings a strong foundation in public service throughout multiple sectors in the valley, which has allowed her to be more in touch with her community. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys going to Pilates and playing trivia.
Sean McMahon is a first-generation Arizonan who was raised in a blue collar family, bringing grit and resilience to CFFE. In college, Sean learned the value of resilience and hard-work through his father at a local cooking oil distribution company, he worked his way through Northern Arizona University to get a bachelor’s degree in business administration debt-free. Now he wants to help advance policies that promote economic freedom and individual opportunity for future generations. Outside of work, he enjoys serving at Highlands church, staying active through working out, and being involved in his community.
Sean Bock is a patriot who is proud to serve Citizens for Free Enterprise by defending the American Dream. Sean Bock graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Texas at Austin. A transplant from Oklahoma to Arizona, Sean enjoys traveling around the state and having conversations with like-minded business owners and citizens. Sean’s greatest strength is being able to find common ground with a wide range of individuals. Out of the office, Sean enjoys computer gaming and reading about history.
Ron DeSouza brings extensive political organizing and community-building experience to CFFE, with years spent supporting campaigns throughout Southern Arizona. He entered the political arena early, interning at the age of 17 and being appointed as a Pima County Precinct Committeeman at 18. Ron earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona, where he was active in political clubs and the pre-law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta. Outside of work, he enjoys international travel and is a frequent visitor to Latin America and Western Europe.
Lalo Mercado brings a strong commitment to grassroots organizing and civic engagement to his work at CFFE, empowering young people and strengthening participation in Southern Arizona. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of Arizona, where he is active in student organizations and campus leadership. Lalo began working in politics and community-building early, gaining hands-on experience with local campaigns and grassroots initiatives. Outside of his academic and professional work, he is passionate about studying Arizona’s history and connecting it to the modern day.
Joseph Goodwin was born in Las Vegas and was raised in Apache Junction, where his passion for community and free enterprise first began. Joseph earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Parks and Recreation from Northern Arizona University, combining his interest in community development and public policy. Joseph interned with Citizens For Free Enterprise for 10 months, gaining valuable experience. Outside of work, Joseph enjoys running and spending time with his dogs.
